About
Equal Creatures from Atlanta, GA writes vulnerable, melodic indie-rock. Laurie Ray, founder of EC, & their songwriting has remained the one constant in the evolution of Equal Creatures. Ray’s raw & vulnerable lyrics are set to a backdrop of rich musical worlds. From the manic whirling parade of “Check Engine Light”, the painful but hopeful “Waylon”, the angry , neglected & desperate “Waiting in The Wings”— Ray becomes a lightning rod, an electrical conductor for a storm of emotions. FFO: Big Thief, Hop Along, Sadurn, Pinegrove, Courtney Barnett, & Counting Crows. booking: Equalcreatures@gmail.com Linktree: https://linktr.ee/Equalcreatures
